WORKSHOPS

Jess has delivered and supported various workshops with young people and at schools. Some of these include The National Theatre’s Speak Up programme held at The Landmark Theatre, Young Carers Anti Abuse mural and an International Women’s Day themed protest art workshop. These included a period of sketching and brainstorming ideas. Students were expected to create individual protest artworks with a message they were passionate about. These were then followed by a large-scale collaborative piece, with the group deciding on a theme, colours, text and imagery. Jess supported the students with discussion about issues within society that the students could raise awareness of. She also helped bring their ideas to life, demonstrating various artistic methods and spray painting techniques.
